HOT ROLLING OIL 4159 Product Description Rolling Oil 4159 is a blend of severely hydrotreated paraffinic oils, mild extreme pressure additives and vegetable based additives for the hot rolling of steel. Hot Rolling Oil 4159 is used as plating oil for roll surface during the rolling of steel slab on hot mills. It is applied by mixing it with cooling water and this mixture is targeted at hot strip mill rollers. Hot Rolling Oil 4159 has good adhesion to hot steel slabs and it will exhibit high levels of lubricity for rolling. It reduces significant amount of rolling forces which in terms equivalent to reduction of consumption of electricity. Good adhesion property of Hot Rolling Oil 4159 on heated steel rollers also delays oxide formation and regrinding schedule for rollers. Hot Roll Oil 4159 is easily demulsify and separates itself from the cooling water at the end of the hot rolling process.
